>> There has been tremendous progress on the "Green" house on Victoria Avenue in Hyde Park. The house is totally under roof with a re-cycled slate roof, copper gutters, cementatious exterior siding and composite door and window trim. The wells have been dug for the geo-thermal HVAC system and despite the fact that the system is not yet running, the interior of the house is a comfortable 56 degrees during this extremely cold winter. The plans are to achieve a Platinum Level of LEED Certification which is the highest level available in residential housing and will give the homeowners some terrific tax incentives and an incredibly efficient house to live in and maintain.
